Tommy Evans is a London based drummer, composer, producer, musical director and conductor. Since graduation from Leeds College of Music in 2009 he has won a number of national awards including the British Academy Of Songwriters and Composers Award (BASCA) 2011.
He has worked alongside an array of international artists, most recently writing and arranging strings for Goldie’s’ new album, MD’ing and conducting the Outlook Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall and composing for Rambert Dance Company.
Tommy has enjoyed international recognition as a drummer and songwriter for his work with Submotion Orchestra, Gentlemans Dub Club and Kin.
As a composer and producer he has had his music synced to a number of adverts and TV programs, with clients ranging from Audi to Ralph Laurent to BBC Match of the Day.
He has been commissioned to write music for festivals around the world, and has had his music featured and exclusively played on BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, 6 and 1Xtra.
