Robin Howell Sprent (Brother & Bones/Marble Fairy)

Robin is a thoroughly modern drummer for Brother and Bones & Marble Fairy and an accomplished session drummer and teacher. Whether teaching or performing, he brings a natural charm and powerful energy to his music making.

Thriving on a shared inspiration, and driven solely by the love of their art, ‘Brother & Bones’ is the common ground between a body of musicians, artists, photographers and filmmakers. Amongst the barrage of a drumming-duo and a full-blooded 5-piece band line-up there is, somehow, a space perfectly left for finger picked acoustic guitar and a fiery-warm vocal all delivered with a steam-train live show.

Brother and Bones were winners of Best Band and Best Live Show at the South West Live Music Awards: Brother and Bones were up against high class acts with the likes of ‘Pulled Apart By Ponies’, ‘Xavier Rudd’, ‘Ben Howard’, ‘Newton Faulkner’ and ‘Ruarri Joseph’.

‘Devastatingly pure…arena sized soul’ –

“…Incredible…Raw…This collective are the real deal…” - The Great Escape

Marble Fairy have built a strong fan base in the South West (Cornwall) and have now relocated to London to capitalise on their growing London following. Marble Fairy reached the final 20 shortlisted bands in the Red Stripe Music Awards 2010 and has received fantastic accolades from performances.

Marble Fairy has co-produced Modern World Studios in Gloucester and their tracks are now being mixed by Dave Bascombe (Kylie, Goldfrapp, Placebo).
