Obsessed with hitting things from a very early age, Reade Pryor left his native Colorado for Los Angeles to attend the Jazz Studies program at the University of Southern California, where he studied under Peter Erskine and Terri Lyne Carrington.
Since then, Reade has gained attention as a top professional drummer in Los Angeles. Reade is currently touring with the much-hyped Los Angeles indie pop outfit Blondfire. Also an active session drummer, he has worked with Dan Wilson, Jaret Reddick of Bowling for Soup, Kina Grannis, Moving Units, Outasight, Linus of Hollywood, Josiah Leming, Josh Kelley, Nick Launay and many others.
He has appeared on national television, including Dancing With The Stars, CBS’s Early Show, and the CW’s “Oh Sit!”. His drumming has also been heard on many TV soundtracks including Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy, and over 30 albums featuring Reade’s drumming have been released.
