Ivan Panella is a session drummer & drum tutor based in London, UK. 

Ivan started playing drums when he was 8. By the age of 9 he studied privately for over five years. Since childhood he developed a natural passion for Rock & Punk music which gave him the opportunity to perform in local events and festivals.

He’s currently drumming with post-hardcore/Metal band Hopes Die Last (IT) and Alt Pop/Rock singer Izzy T (UK) as well as sessions.

Since 2007 he has been touring & playing festivals across Europe, UK, America, Russia, Asia, Africa & SA.

After moving to London he had the pleasure to collaborate and work with several bands and international artists, performing in most of London’s iconic venues, clubs as well as Reading & Leeds festivals. During this time he also had the opportunity to record drums in various studios including the legendary RAK and Abbey Road.

Ivan is also very passionate about teaching drums. As well as giving private tuition he’s also covering the role of Headteacher & drum tutor at London School of Music.
