Internationally recognised drummer & percussionist Felix Higginbottom’s rare versatility allows him to work with a vast range of artist such as; Dan Zanes, Kandance Springs, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Banks, Songhoy Blues, Chamber Orchestra for London, Academy of Ancient Music, London Contemporary Orchestra, Snarky Puppy, Melt Yourself Down and Ghost-Note.
Felix was educated at the Royal Academy of Music and King's College London, before moving to Rio de Janeiro to focus on Brazilian hand-percussion. A graduate of the esteemed National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Felix's style aims to blur the distinction between a drummer and a percussionist - that the language and the sonic pallet are not confined to one or the other.
He is currently on tour with multi Grammy Award winning pianist Bill Laurance, working in London's West End and releasing new music with alt-pop quartet Low Island. In between all this Felix has found time to teach students at the Royal Northern College of Music and National School's Symphony Orchestra.
